Teak and Outdoor Furniture Restoration
Deck Restoration Plus offers this specialized service for our customers who have both indoor teak and furniture or outdoor teak or other outdoor wood furniture. Our service also includes a free pick-up service which serves our customers all year around but specifically helps in the winter months when not in use. We are also happy to perform these services on-site. After we have restored your wood we also offer maintenance cleaning, repairs, and other services as well.
Teak is a beautiful, tight grained hardwood that, when well-maintained, adds a nice accent to an outdoor property and an indoor area. Outdoors your wood will turn to a light gray from the sun naturally and requires more frequent coating to maintain the rich honey color of the teak. Indoors periodic cleaning will keep the wood looking rich for a long period of time. Deck Restoration Plus is your best source to handle all situations regarding your teak and wood furniture.
First we will assess the needs of the wood regarding light cleaning and re-coating or a deeper clean and full restoration of the furniture. Once we have restored the wood we will sand the furniture with varying grits of sandpaper finishing with a high grit, smooth finish. Second, we will condition the wood to remove all dust and ensure a clean surface prior to coating. Thirdly, we will apply our premium sealant that is specific for teak or the type of wood we are restoring. We have a variety of tones to choose from so we can match a desired color that matches other surroundings.
